Agent Insured

The Agentic Liability Monitor. What happened, and what it means for cover.

A briefing for compliance officers, legal teams and AI infrastructure leads inside European organisations, and for the brokers and carriers who work with them. No opinion columns, no prediction markets. A sober reading of what has happened, and what it means for the cover of autonomous systems.

Three things it follows.

Enforcement and cases

Supervisory decisions under the AI Act, the GDPR and national product liability regimes, and court filings that touch the conduct of autonomous systems.

The insurance market

Product announcements, policy wordings and market commentary from reinsurers, syndicates and specialist AI providers, including Munich Re, Armilla, Lloyd's and the Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company (AIUC), a standards body.

Certification and standards

Developments under AIUC-1, ISO/IEC 42001, the General-Purpose AI Code of Practice and the work programme of CEN-CENELEC JTC 21.

How it is written.

Every brief is traceable to a public source, and every carrier fact is read at the carrier's own domain. The desk publishes no prediction columns and no vendor profiles.

  • The standard issue. Four to six briefs, about 800 words in all.
  • A special edition on 9 December 2026, for the transposition deadline of the revised Product Liability Directive.
  • A quarterly reading list of case filings, insurer product documentation and standards publications.
  • An annual review in the last issue of December, on the year's enforcement and market activity.
